I've been struggling to get anything done inside of Google Maps on the Android platform. As of now I've got a map to load and default to a specific city and location with zoom functions. What I'm wondering is since Google Maps stand alone has a layer for Transportation, you can see bus stops on streets, and if you click on them, then you get options to access time tables and such. Can anyone advise on how I may be able to do this in my application which will use Google Maps? I can see the bus stops in my application without programming anything, but can't click them and look up the times and such. I saw that there's a standard of GTFS which the public transportation company publishes. I was just wondering if there's a way to piggy-back off what Google has already done in it's Google Maps. Any help would be appreciated.
