OpenPeak Inc. creates, designs, and develops innovative communication systems and devices that enable simple user control of VoIP telephony, digital media, Internet content, messaging applications, and consumer electronics.

- 5+ years of software design and development experience in commercial large scale, multiplatform environments

- 4+ years of software design and development experience using Java and familiar with Eclipse and other development environments

- Experience building Android applications using the Android SDK.

- Expertise in advanced software engineering concepts, most importantly object oriented design

- A firm understanding of building mobile applications that utilize web-services (either HTTP based, XML, SOAP, JSON or other services), in order to tie our applications to critical server-side APIs

- Ability to contribute to or lead a team of engineers in cross-functional teams

- Familiarity with Linux internals, administration, and configuration

- 5+ years C language experience with strong coding skills

- Experience with the Android Linux kernel

- Expertise or familiarity with well-designed user interfaces, specifically for Android

- Ability to do write Linux drivers for Android.

- Familiarity with the Intel IA32 CPU architecture.
