Nice Paying and Quick Project for an Android Developer

Postby tj8212 » Thu Oct 23, 2008 4:28 pm

My name is Tunji Afonja from Gx5 where we create compelling software for Smartphones. We are looking to hire an Android developer to build us a simple dll that will allow our desktop application to communicate directly with the G1 phone when it is connected via usb. This dll will allow us to send files to certain folders on the G1 phone. If you are interested, please email us right away at info at gx-5.com

Sincerely,
Tunji Afonja

That would be fairly easy, write a wrapper around adb and you're go.

When you connect your G1 via USB it is detected as a normal mass storage device. You can then write directly to your SD card.

I dont think think it is possible to install apk files from the pc unless you use the debug mode.

I meant: 'normal' people (who haven't set the phone in debug mode/state) can't do it?!
