I am really busy working on the core game technology and level editor for my upcoming game Lava Ball and since I don't know MySql, php, or any of the android apis other than OpenGL, I need some help.
As a feature of this game, I would like to implement global high scores where people can post their high scores.
Requirements
1) Implemented as a MySql database on our hosted website.
2) PHP code implemented to make the leaderboard viewable via the web.
3) Android code for the following:
3a) Save and Load high scores on the device.
3b) Post your best high scores to the web.
3c) View Leaderboards in game as a view of my application - not as a web page.
3d) Use IMEI for uniqueness.
4) Leaderboards include the following:
4a) Best score per level - indefinite number of levels.
4b) Best overall score - sum of all levels.
4c) Best overall score (free levels).
4d) Ability to see your own ranking in any of the above if not a leader.
I am sure someone has most of this already. I can't afford to pay much for this, but we may be able to work out a small fee based on a percentage of the first so many paid downloads in reasonable installments. I can guarantee that you will get full in game credits for your work, one link in the links section of my web page, and my thanks forever.
I strongly believe that this game is going to be very popular and it is a good way to get some experience and your name out there in the credits. Let me know. Please feel free to email me at czimmerm@exit4gaming.com if you are interested.
Thanks,
Charlie
