what kind of connectivity you want to make in your app , there is complete api for each social network like facebook , twitter ... do u want to post status or image upload ?

Post Statuses, and allow commenting for wall posts and pictures.

you can use graph api for facebook integration , i also worked with fbRocket which is more easy then graph , for Twitter use jTwitter api ... make sure you are authenticating your app on facebook app and twitter app , I think you are using some old tutorials which does not require oath for connection and just user name and password can connect to the facebook n twitter , that have been obsolete .
