Hey guys!

I am trying to do some test programming on my HTC Magic.
I turn on USB Debugging and according to what I have been reading, an icon should appear in the notification area. Then, when I plug it into my MacBook Pro, it should show another icon showing the connection.

However, even though I have USB Debugging enabled on the device, there's no icon in the notification area.

I'm trying out the Google Android App Inventor and it cannot connect to the device because it thinks it's not connected.

Any clues?

Never mind. Changed to the original HTC cable and it works. GO figure!
