Hi, anyone has a tutorial or 1-click method how to root a German G1 running at CRC37 ??? I have found many tutorials but they all seem to be for US G1 models. Anyone dared to take the US approach to a German G1? Did it work or did the G1 die?

and it worked like a charm on my german g1.

Note that this will only work if you didnt apply the latest android-update yet.

I did it step by step and had no single problem at all. Very unsual. Worked perfect with my German G1 even I did the latest upgrade to CRC37. I was quite surprise to see it working. I can only recommend the above approach given my environment.

Not sure what the "rules" are, but I think posting additional comments could be a help for other developers that need to have their device rooted in order to exploit the full potential.
