Andy Rubin shows a new Android based device, built by "on of our [Google's] partners" to a BBC-reporter.
Enjoy it

I have to say, that I never expected Android to run at such amazing speed on a CPU with just 300 Mhz, what is about the half of a iPhone. Everything is absolutely fluent. The WebKit based browser developers only know from their emulators looks really intuitive to use.
This reference phone is not just capable of touch, but also features a track-ball.
The device you've see even has a powerful 3D-GPU and runs Quake at amazing 30 FPS (the gpu-core is a msn70200 from Qualcomm)
Andy Rubin also shows Google StreetView running on the device. This is a mobile first -- StreetView has not been ported to any other mobile platform before.
