Disney Digital Copy is the Disney-branded Digital Copy experience, which enables buyers of DVD and Blu‑ray to receive the standard definition digital version of the movie in their choice of iTunes or Windows Media formats. The Disney Digital Copy is located on a stand-alone disc and is Mac & PC compatible.
How to Play Disney Digital Copy Movies on Archos Child Pad?
As we know, The Archos Child Pad has a crisp 7 inch (800 x 480 pixel) screen so its great for using apps, browsing the web or watching videos. And the slim (12 mm) and light (380g) means that its a tablet that your kids can carry everywhere. So, you can put some of the Disney movie give your child to kill time. However, the Disney Digital Copy Movie are under DRM restriction. And the fact is we are not allowed to watch these DRM portected movies on an Android Tab like Archos Child Pad. However, Despite of DRM protection, we can play Disney Digital Copy movies on Child Pad. What we need to do is to remove DRM portection of iTunes videos and do a conversion. Step 1. Add Disney Digital Copy Movie to the DRM program
Launch the Digital Copy to ChildPad Converter and click “Add Files” button on the main interface to import Disney Digital Copy Movie, or you may drag and drop the Disney Digital Copy Movie to the software.
Step 2. Select output format
The Archos Child Pad supported video formats include h.264 and MPEG-4 encoded video files with the following extensions: .avi .mp4 ,mkv, .mov, and .flv. You can click “Format” button and choose “Common Video>> H.264 Video (*.mp4)”, because H.264 .mp4 video play well on all the tablets on market. And it’s also a streaming media format, meaning you can stream H.264 .mp4 video to HDTV.
Step 3. Setting profile
Click on “Settings” you could easily set bitrate, frame rate, codec, channels, sample rate, etc to adjust parameters that affect video quality and file size for the video you prefer. The ChildPad can support h.264 videos up to 1080p, though video playback and most apps never break out of 720p. For watching videos on the Android 4.0 Tablet, 720p with 1000~1500kbps is just all right. Below is the best format setting for Archos ChildPad per my experience:
Tips: After that, you can click on “Save as” to rename the profile, such as “Archos ChildPad (*.mp4)”. Next time, you can easily find it in “Custom” category.
Step 4. Start remove DRM and convert Disney Digital Copy Movie to Archos ChildPad
At last, click the big Convert button on the right bottom to start converting your Disney Digital Copy Movie so that Archos Child Pad accepts them. After the conversion, simply click Open to locate the ripped videos and transfer them to your tablet with ease. Just let your kids enjoy the movies!
