In addition to Teller
Watch Don Jon Online The trick, of course, would be balancing the film with Insurgent, the currently in-pre-production sequel to the hotly anticipated YA novel adaptation Divergent. According to the actor, production on that movie is scheduled to star in April of next year, which could very well create some scheduling issues. Teller's connection to The Fantastic Four has been a rather strange one that has been filled with ups and downs. The saga began in early August when it was reported that the Spectacular Now star was one of the actors in contention for the role of Reed Richard. That very same day, however, director Josh Trank took to his Twitter account to completely deny the story:
Watch Kill Your Darlings Online Then, earlier this month, a shortlist of actors being considered for the Mr. Fantastic role was unveiled, and along with Game of Thrones' Kit Harrington and Jack O'Connell we once again saw Teller's name mentioned. Now that the young actor has confirmed that he has had discussions about the part, one has to wonder what Trank meant when he said that the casting story wasn't true. Perhaps he thought that the story confirmed Teller for the role?
Watch 12 Years a Slave Online Including the Liam Neeson action flick Unknown and the weird evil child horror Orphan. A good psychological thriller is so hard to come by these days. In the film, Mark Strong (Low Winter Sun) plays a man who has a unique ability that allows him to enter people’s minds and their memories. He takes on the case of a sixteen year old girl, played by Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story), to decide whether she’s a dangerous psychopath or a trauma victim. She apparently tried to murder three people, but maybe she was driven to it by other duplicitous forces. The film also stars Brian Cox as the guy who brings the case to Strong, along with Noah Taylor (Game of Thrones), Saskia Reeves (Luther), Indira Varma (Human Target) and Richard Dillane (Argo).
Watch Cloudy 2 Online Fandango caught up with Teller at the on-going Savannah Film Festival down in Georgia where the actor essentially confirmed that he has been having conversations about starring in his first comic book movie. Asked about the possibility of starring in The Fantastic Four the actor said, ""Uh, you know, I don't know. If that happens, if everything works out, then I will be pretty pumped. But then I'll also be working for ... it's like seven months out of your year. Which is not a bad problem."
Watch Insidious 2 Online Sure, this is a somewhat ridiculous concept with no strong grip on reality, but there are few movies out there that take place inside of people’s memories, so hopefully Dorado will embrace the surreality of the human mind. It’s a very busy trailer visually, full of interesting (if somewhat strangely placed) framing, which will hopefully compliment the fractured narrative rather than just sticking out like a sore thumb. One has to assume there will be some major twist at the end of the labyrinthine story, which turns Farmiga from murderer to victim to brain stalker in just a minute and a half. I’m confident in the young actress’ ability to raise this performance above possibly trite waters. Strong is also a pretty solid actor, though he never looks like he’s having very much fun. Maybe he’ll live through one of her memories of a water park or something.
Watch The Conjuring Online Mindscape premiered earlier this month at the Stiges Film Festival in Spain, and will be released there in January, though it does not yet have U.S. distribution. It's always fun to see an actor challenge themselves by taking on a project that requires them to play more than one role, but now Noomi Rapace is taking that idea to some pretty extreme levels. The Swedish star has signed a deal to star in the upcoming indie sci-fi movie What Ever Happened To Monday?, a film that will require the actress to play seven different parts.
Watch The Fifth Estate Online Production on the John Belushi biopic is looking to start next spring in New York. Unless it can somehow come together incredibly quickly, we can likely expect the film to come out some time in 2015. The rumors are true, folks: Miles Teller has indeed been having conversations about the possibility of playing the extra stretchy superhero Mr. Fantastic in the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. The problem, however, is that the success of another possible franchise for the star could possibly prevent him from taking the part. It's the kind of problem that we all wish we could have.
In addition to Teller, other actors rumored for parts in the project include Saoirse Ronan, Kate Mara and Margot Robbie for Sue Storm/ Invisible Girl; and Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch. Hopefully we'll start hearing some official casting announcements soon so that the film can get going. Who out there has been waiting with bated breath for a thriller to come along that mashes Christopher Nolan’s mind-bending Inception with the inner-mind-wandering madness of Tarsem Singh’s The Cell? Because that movie is here, and it’s called Mindscape. The Spanish-made film is the first feature directed by Jorge Dorado and first-time writer Guy Holmes, and it has just dropped its first English language trailer, as seen above. You’ll notice the preview and most news out there about the film relies heavily on telling people director Jaume Collet-Serra produced this film, and had a hand in getting it made. Unlike most films that hinge themselves to a name to sell the film to audiences, I think Mindscape actually looks better than any of Collet-Serra’s films. According to The Hollywood Reporter, which first reported the casting news, the film will be directed by Tommy Wirkola, who is best known for his Nazi zombie movie Dead Snow and Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, which was released earlier this year. The movie will be based on a screenplay by Max Botkin and is set in a futuristic world that has been damaged by dangerous overpopulation. In order to stop society from growing too large, a "one-child only" policy is created. Rapace will star as a group of septuplet sisters who are forced to try and live separate lives while also remain hidden from the government. When one of their own goes missing, the sisters have to work together - very much at their own risk - to find her.
