automatic sound detection in android

Postby leejia » Sun Mar 20, 2011 10:15 am

Our application in android detects & recognizes sound and google search that word. We click a button and say the word. But we want to detect the sound automatically(without button clicks) whenever we say a word. Can anyone help us to detect sound automatically... :)

You can use 3D Sound recorder that is having time based recording mode, that will automatically stop after user specified time. Along with this you can detect the sound also.

Maybe he means something like a hash for a spoken word, like the apps that identify songs by analyzing the spectrum. or i could be wrong.
