It's been a while since Eric Chu of Google let us know

that we are hard at work to enable
developers in Germany, Austria, Netherlands, France, and Spain to offer
priced applications in the coming weeks. Once merchant support for priced
apps are live in these countries, we will announce our plans for launching
support for developers in additional geographies.

Four weeks have passed since then, being from The Netherlands I'm getting really excited as I'm finishing a paid app. Isn't there anyone who has heard something through the grapevine about a specific timeline?

They might wait for Cupcake to have rolled out completely. Also the U.K. developers experience all kinds of difficulties on the market, maybe they want to fix those problems first and then enable more countries.

Ah well,

I can answer my own question, Eric Chu from Google just sent out a new e-mail in which he states:

[sup]In the next couple weeks, we will add buyer support for priced apps in the
following countries: France, Italy, Spain, and Netherlands. Also, we are
finalizing the work to enable developers in Germany, Austria, Netherlands,
France, and Spain to offer priced applications in the coming weeks.[/sup]

It should not be too long anymore..
