So, you wanna try the real Android? No problem!

-Download the image and
webcore.
-Unzip it and make a backup of Android/tools/lib/images then, copy system.img to your Android/tools/lib/images.
-Start the emulator
-And directly after starting do:

adb remount
adb push <path to>/libwebcore.so /system/lib/libwebcore.so


(this step should be done everytime the emu starts!)
Then wait a sec, and your device image is up and running in the emulator!

Unfortunately not and also the gmail client is missing, so no syncing. I guess we'll have to wait for a dump from the G1.
