Upgrade FW from1.0 to 1.6 re-register with google ?

Postby manjo » Wed Oct 07, 2009 8:29 pm

I have a dev G1 which has FW v1.0, I want to upgrade to 1.6.

Q#1: If I upgrade to 1.6 will I have to re-register with google ? like I did when I initially turned on the phone?

if ans to Q#1 is "yes":

Q#2: I am not on T-mobile network I am on ATT, will I have to use a T-Mobile sim to re-register. That is how I registered the phone initially.
