Unable to create new Android project

Postby andyandroid3 » Tue Aug 10, 2010 4:13 am

Hi,

I am using Eclipse and had downloaded all necessary updates. Unfortunately, I am unable to create a new project. Under the New>Projects option I am unable to select New Android Project. It is missing from the list (please refer to the print screen). I am not sure if I correctly installed the Android SDK. Or I missed out some steps during the installation. I'm new to Android so I would appreacite it if someone could help me on this matter. Thanks a lot in advance. :)

I'd double check you installed the Android SDK properly

Hi blundell,

I manage to sort it out. Actually I missed out the step to install the ADT. Initially I had the impression that the ADT was included as part of the Eclipse (Galileo) package. That's why I was still wondering why the Android was missing from the new project option. Thanks a lot for the help. :)
