Hi,

Is there any way to simulate conditions such as low memory or low signal. Is there any way i can set the power level and signal strength of the emulator thus simulating scenarios for testing.

Hello kiran,

in Eclipse, open the DDMS View. There you'll see the "Emulator Control" to the left.

There you can set different things availability and speed/latency, of Data-Connection and Voice-Conenction. Live with a running emulator.

I saw the emulator control but it is confusing. when you set voice and data to unregistered, a small red cross appears at the signal strength display(i think it denotes no signal). Still you can place calls from the emulator and the emulator recives the call placed from ddms.

I need to set the power to 10%. Currently the battery icon shows battery power of about 50%-60% and is fixed. Is there any way I change that.

Haven't seen such a possibility yet.

I wanted to reduce signal strength.. I am connecting to the server. When the signal strength is low i want to store the orders in database.. As Plusminus said i saw in DDMS ... In Emulator Control there are Voice , Speed ,Latency and Data ... Which one i need to change?... Can anyone answer me?...
