Postby lawrenceejgray » Mon Feb 07, 2011 9:06 pm

i am very very new to Android development, i was wondering if it is possible to create an application (ill be using a HTC Hero running 2.1) that when connected to a windows PC via cable i could press a button within the app that starts a windows application located on the phones memory card, that will gather information about the windows computer and display it?

cheers for any help,

So you want to put a Windows Keylogger on your SD card of your phone, when the phone is then plugged into the PC you want your app to run the SD card windows exe on the computer?

easy answer No.

Your phone's operating system (android) has nothing to do with your pc's operation system (windows).

You would need to exploit some windows mechanism to start an exe without the user's permission, i.e. this isn't an android question.
