NFC App with ACR122U

Postby makko » Thu Nov 24, 2011 2:51 pm

Hi Guys,

I'm just getting started on a college project that will involve either the Galaxy Nexus or Nexus S communicating with the ACR122U USB NFC reader.

I have purchased the ACR122U and can read the UID from a tag. I'm just starting to think about communicating with the Android device now. I'm aware Android doesn't currently support tag emulation so I guess i'll have to go with P2P.

I'd be interested in hearing from anybody who has developed phone-pc P2P functionality.

Also, assuming I have ICS on the Nexus S is there any difference between that and the Galaxy Nexus in the context of NFC development.

Thanks Guys :)

Have you managed to get the ACR122U to read/write to a Mifare card?
