Mini-Google Map

Postby lordhong » Mon Dec 03, 2007 4:42 am

based on all the great tutorials here and some digging around in the blogs... i built my first mini-google map tools.

basically it's a small map application that you can enter an address and lookup map in street/satellite/traffic views, including zoom in/out functions. the addresses are stored in db and utilize the auto-complete to show your historical inputs. geocode translation is done thru. yahoo geo API.

source codes are included and GPLV2-ed(?), anyway, feel free to grab it and any comment/question please let me know.

Hello Lordhong,

that look really nice :!:

Just send it to me, my email ( ... _at_ a n d d e v . o r g )should be listed right below this text.

We are thinking of upgrading to phpBB3 but it is still unstable.
But we will add an attachment mod this evening :!:

Perhaps we can make a litte tutorial out of this :?:
Because Map-Apps seem to be very liked ( the FriendFinder got ~1300 in about one week :) ) :!:

Thanks! Definitely, let me clean up my source a bit before sending to you.
It's a collective work resulted from great android community, I merely put them together :)
Will send that to you in the next day or two.
