Lost in documentation

Postby fargospanner » Thu Mar 12, 2009 1:48 pm

Hi, can someone point me in the right direction of a good guide that takes the beginner from the start of Android programming up to the higher levels?

I am spending a disgusting amount of time trying to locate decent material.

I am a programmer but new to Android, more used to iPhone where I could just buy a book and follow it thru until I had enough savvy then looked further on web.

With Android I have spent ages just trying to find if I can click on an image and respond by making it display in full resolution but still have not found the answer. Yeah I see posts around where they say do this or do that, but I dont even know the correct command so need a kind of hand holder tutorial.

Please help if you can as I need to crack the Android scene!

Thanks in advance
