Java/Eclipse Application? Looking to code-on-the-go..

Hello, I'm new here! Just wondering if there are any applications to enable someone to develop applications on the actual droid device? I feel like this would make testing and debugging applications a lot easier if they were programming on the device itself. Even a small java IDE to program and run classes would be great.

Thanks!
