hi,

I am in my final year of an IT degree and I am doing my project on Android, I have done most of the research and now have to build an Android application, My application must use the location api in some way.

I was wondering would it be possible to use it to create an application that would allow students to search for accommodation local to there college and display the location of the houses for rent on google maps in realtime?

What would I need to look into to be able to do this? from beginning to end?

Location api?
google maps?

can I pull the information off an existing website into my app or will I have to set up my own internet site with information about houses for rent?

what is the best way to do this?

Is this too big an app for one guy with only 4 months to complete and limited Android skills so far?
