Is there any way to access the market without a G1?

With the iPhone (sorry, guys), you can browse new software from your computer, send links to your friends, show people the comments other people make about your apps...

Is there a way to do any of that for Android?

This is disappointing - I mean, the device gets the market data *somewhere*. I wish I could figure out the URL. But then, it's probably XML formatted data, not plain ol' HTML.

OK, is it possible to access the market from an emulator?

Combined with the inability to take screenshots (like the... um... "other device") this really sucks for app reviews, too. I really expected pressing the camera button while running an app to work :cry:

My backup plan is to snap photos of the G1 running the market app with my old phone, which is absurd.
