Try this:

http://developer.android.com/guide/deve ... e-adt.html

You can also create an AVD by going to the top of your eclipse screen and selecting the button that looks like a little phone (this is all assuming you have ADT properly installed)

Edit: er sorry, I was thinking emulator (as thats all I have) however, you can run it on a real phone by connecting the phone to your computer by USB and using adb in your tools directory.

Try this:

http://developer.android.com/guide/deve ... evice.html

With how to use ADB here:

http://developer.android.com/guide/deve ... s/adb.html

Is this the step where you are having trouble?

# Select Search for the best driver in these locations. Browse to the usb_driver/x86 in the SDK package (<sdk>\usb_driver\x86).
# Click Finish. The system should install the driver files as necessary. Your machine may require a reboot.

Can you be more specific? Does your system hang or does it give you an error message. Have you rebooted your computer?

What are you installing with? Windows, or Linux/Unix?

Is this tutorial specific to the G1? I am trying to load an application to a Mytouch 3G and Windows XP is telling me the following when I point it to the x86 driver's folder:

The wizard could not find a better match for your hardware than the software you currently have installed.
