I didn't know this book but I use the following "The Busy Coder's Guide to Android Development" which is an ebook frequently update.

I have the Busy Coder's Guide as well. It's put together well, and has lots of good reference info.

I bought the download version, as it's updated more often. It's also less crap to carry around!

I am looking forward to more texts on Android. One can never have too many reference books and code examples!
