Gtalk (XMPP) message as Intent Filter?

Postby orbyone » Wed Jan 09, 2008 7:51 pm

Hi,

I was wondering, is there any way to have an intent filter start an activity, when an incoming message through GTalk (XMPP) protocol arrives? and to take it to where I want exactly, when a message from a particular user arrives? Think about it, it would make it possible to create applications that wake up from the network from particular trusted users (through pre-confirmation)

Thanks
Themos

This would be grand... I've been hunting around and can't find anything like this though.
Anyone else come across a way to do something similar?
