external USB button

Postby shoop » Wed Feb 29, 2012 5:09 am

Hi there,I am working on a project which requires me to develop an Android App. This android app, must respond to a physical button or switch. So for example, a user would press the button, and then my app would respond accordingly.

So I am interested in
1. where can I get such a button or switch, it would have to connect via USB
2. and how would I start looking at developing my app so that it responds to a button press.

e.g. something like the buttons here would be great!

Any help much appreciated!
