I've followed the instructions on this page: http://source.android.com/download and have managed to pull down the source code.

How do I go about downloading the source code that most represents what is released on the Android G1? I'm presuming my recent download just lifted the head revision for the latest code?

You can't download all of the code which is on the G1 (a lot of stuff is Google's proprietary code). But I think there shoud be some documentation on git which says which revision the G1 uses. I don't know this for sure though. You can also try checking if you can find the revision version on the G1 itself (in about or something like that).
