Do all apps have to go on the market?

Postby TyB » Wed Mar 02, 2011 9:51 pm

I am looking at tablets and was going to buy a iPad but kinda useless for use at work. I was thinking since droid is open source I could create apps to use at work which is a Windows environment but I did not realize that I cannot create apps just for myself or other users at work that have droid os. Is that right I have to put any apps on the market?

Thanks,

Ty

Nope.

You can write apps just for yourself and any device you want to load them onto, just do it via usb.

Its not compulsory that all andriod apps should go to market. You can create your app and install it on you andriod phone, if you just want to use it.
