My employer is the ICT industry regulator and promoter in Brunei.

Yesterday we held a one-day workshop on the Android platform here at
the local University (UBD).

We plan to have a 2nd one-day workshop to follow up and to allow the
participants to share their knowledge and experiences with the
platform.

Gambatte & Good luck everyone with the Android Developer Challenge!

By the way - I'm thinking of polishing off some of the materials used on the day and publishing them here under a permissive CC license, so that others can also make use of them.

Cheers,

izamryan.

Of Course

At the end of the workshop, I presented some slides on "Where to get more information", and besides the code.google.com mailing lists, I showed the attendees the http://www.anddev.org web site and all the features.

I was going to get them all to register here on anddev.org but not all the machines in the lab had internet access. That is definately something we're going to improve on the next time around.
