Just when you think Breaking Bad can’t get any better, creator Vince Gilligan cooks up an even more dramatic, action-packed episode filled with murder, deceit and confessions. But despite finding ourselves emotionally drained from last night’s “Ozymandias” episode, we can’t say we were entirely surprised by the jerking twists and turns Gilligan put us through.

With only two more episodes left until the series finale, what did we expect from the cast and crew of Breaking Bad? Did we really think Walt and Hank could have rekindled their brotherhood after five years of lies?

Gilligan put it perfectly as he described how the final season of Breaking Bad would pan out. “Once this thing gets going, and it gets going very quickly, it just rolls along like gangbusters,” the show’s creator told The Daily Beast.

And he wasn't kidding. As the showdown between outlaws and the DEAs took place, we knew that poor Gomez was done for good, but we definitely weren't ready for the death of Hank. “You're the smartest guy I ever met,” Hank tells his brother-in-law after Walt pleaded to bargain $80 million for his brother’s life, “and you're too stupid to see: He made up his mind 10 minutes ago.” That made two of us, Walt. Tears streamed down our — uh, we mean Walt’s—face as Uncle Jack put a bullet through his brother’s head.

But Hank’s death just marked the beginning of the drama-infused Season 5, Episode 14. By the end of “Ozymandias,” we had watched Walt finally confess to Jesse how his late girlfriend really died, Skyler pull a knife on her husband, and Walt Jr. (aka Flynn) call the police on his beloved father, which resulted in Walt kidnapping his daughter. But it was the very last scene of Breaking Bad that pulled at our heartstrings. After five years of dodging bullets and cooking the most coveted meth for the sake of his family, Walt leaves and selflessly takes the blame for everything that has gone wrong, giving his family some semblance of peace.

But that's all set to change in Season 5, Episode 15 titled “Granite State.” According to the official Showtime synopsis, this is what we can expect to occur in next week’s episode: “Events set in motion long ago move toward a conclusion. (The Granite State is New Hampshire).”

It sounds like Walt has picked up and moved to New Hampshire, but Saul assures his client that no good can come of his disappearance. “You’re worried about your wife and kids. If they don’t have you, they’re going after her. There are two DEA agents missing — presumed dead. How much time have you got left?” the lawyer asks in the Breaking Bad promo for “Granite State.” We have to wonder who “they” are and what Walt could possibly have left that anybody would want. OK, yeah, he still has $10 million left to his name, but we’re pretty sure the former high school chemistry teacher wouldn't be frivolous with that cash and has most likely put it in the bank for his children.

Now we have Breaking Bad Season 5 Episode 15 one cryptic clue about the show's final moments, which comes in the form of six letters: "Felina" This series finale already has piqued our curiousity!

Saul has somehow managed to get into contact with Walter. If anyone could do it, it would surely be him. He warns Walter that with two DEA agents missing and presumed dead they will go after Skylar. He warns Walter that his family is in danger and suggests that Walter should return to protect them. It's hard to say if Saul is acting out of genuine concern or setting a trap for Walter. Skylar knows Saul and may have given him up to the DEA and Saul might have buckled under pressure. The whole thing could be an extensive sting operation. On the other hand there is a spin-off series featuring Saul, so he can't have gotten into too much trouble.

But what does it all mean? UPROXX has rounded up some of Breaking Bad fans' best observations about the title. For example: It could be no more complicated than a simple anagram: "Felina" can be rearranged to spell "finale."

Season 2 finds the dynamic duo facing setback after setback, especially in their distribution. They meet shady lawyer Saul Goodman, who provides smart but less-than-legal business advice. As Jesse becomes more and more drug-addled, Walt meets a local fast-food business owner, Gustavo Fring, who offers $1.2 million for 38 pounds of meth. Walt withholds Jesse’s half of the profit and even does nothing as Jesse’s manipulative girlfriend overdoses and dies in front of him. On the home front, Skyler kicks Walter out, fed up with his secrets. Walter confesses his whole criminal side to Sykler in Season 3, and she demands a divorce. Meanwhile, Gustavo Fring moves Walt into a state-of-the-art, underground meth lab and provides a new assistant, Gale. Walter’s brother-in-law, DEA agent Hank, begins to put a case together against Jesse. Jesse meanwhile learns that Gus’s henchmen made the kid brother of Jesse’s new girlfriend kill one of Jesse’s distributors, and conspires to kill the henchmen in retribution. When Gus replaces Walt with apprentice Gale, Walt makes Jesse kill Gale to make them indispensable.

Season 4 sees Gus reluctantly rehiring Walter and Jesse. Meanwhile, Skyler agrees to launder Walt’s profits with a car wash the family buys. Hank closes in, directing his investigation toward Gus now. Upon discovering Walter’s connection with Hanks, Gus fires Walter and threatens harm to both him and his family, but Walter outsmarts Gus and kills him by convincing a dying man to be a suicide bomber. In the first half of Season 5, Walter and Jesse are working for themselves again. Skyler feigns a suicide attempt only to get her children to the relative safety of Hank’s house. Walt has ten men who know his secret murdered in prison. He also kills Mike Ehrmantraut, a longtime ally of his and Jesse’s. The first chapter of the season ends with Hank discovering a book with an inscription from Gale to Walt, finally piecing together that Walt is the notorious drug lord he’s been chasing. The second half of Season five premiered August 11, picking up right where things left off, with the episode reaching a tense peak when Hank confronts Walt about his identity as Heisenberg. It also features another fast-forward intro where the Walter sees what has become of the Whites' Albuquerque home. But what about the rest of Walter's family? There are some pretty out-there fan theories... but Episode 9 didn't give any real indication outside of that intro tease.

Breaking Bad is hurtling toward its finale at a breakneck pace — each episode of the second half of Season 2 packed with wrenching tensions and only four installments remaining before it all ends on September 29. According to Wikipedia, Felina is the name of a professional wrestler, a DC Comics character, a princess's pet in the world of The Wizard of Oz, a professor in the Pokemon universe, a reggaeton singer, and a Filipino TV drama. It's also the feminine version of the Spanish word for "feline." But, in perhaps the coolest theory, one fan on Reddit has pointed out that "Fe" is the chemical symbol for iron, which essential for blood; "Li" stands for lithium, which is used in meth-cooking, and "Na" is sodium, which is found in tears. So "Felina" could refer to "blood, meth, and tears," a bastardization of the idiom "blood, sweat, and tears."

What do you think will occur in Breaking Bad’s Season 5, Episode 15? Will Walt come back to his family during next week’s show?
