Bluetooth in the emulator?

Postby xayide » Tue Feb 05, 2008 1:29 pm

Hello!

It´s the first time I write in here. I have a problem with the bluetooth of the emulator. My computer doesn´t support bluetooth, and I don´t know if it is possible to emule the bluetooth in a computer which can´t support it. I have the m3-rc37 version of the emulator.
I have debug the code line by line and it breaks down when I try to get de default Adapter.

I don´t know if it is because of the bluetooth emulator or because of the code.
Does anybody know something about this?

Any information would be very helpfull, because there is no many information about bluetooth in the android emulator.

Thank you very much!

Unfortunately bluetooth in the current SDK isn't that great. A new SDK is apparently going to be released in the next couple of weeks with multiple updates so maybe hold off until then?

Hello xayide,

Dan Morrill from Google wrote:Hi, Harpreet!

Since this currently an early look of the SDK, not all of the APIs have been
finalized. The APIs used to access hardware features like Bluetooth are
among the works in progress.

These APIs will be included along with documentation in a future release of
the SDK.
