what exactly is this middleware?

Why you just dont google middleware or ask wikipedia?!
Android OS builds some sort of abstraction layer for the normal
user and for the developer.
You develop your programms in java (basicly) but android
is build on linux and lot of libraries written in c++.
On top of that there is the application framework written in java.
This framework could be descripted as a interface between the beneath
native c++ Core if you will and the applications you see and use like
the telephone or contacts software and software you can build as a developer.
The part of android thats organize the bridge between those
native c++ libraries and those programms you use and see
is called middleware.

You could have obtained this information within a 10sec google search..

HI,
I am new to Android. Past 6months I have been doing Application development in Android. But I don't know anything of middle ware. Can anybody tell me the sites or tutorials for middle ware. I have recently build my SDK and now trying to use "make debug" for getting log messeages in logcat. But I am getting some error messages.
Please share some basic information about commands, make files etc in Android middle ware
