Not that I need to set a price in my current development stage, I am simply curious on how to do so when needed. Right now, It is set to "Free" and apparently I can't find a way to change that...

Perhaps I'm missing something?

At this moment the only way to distribute your app at Android Market is for FREE. Google's Android team will add the feature to the Market where you can set the price to your product in the near future.

I cannot find any dowload on Slideme (to my PC) ? From the Emulator with SAM, gives a "Security - not allowed" type error? I tried to email slideme - but nothing yet ?

That's an emu restriction. You can't download apk's from the net on the emu. But you can download the Sam apk from SlideMe and install that on the emulator.
