Android gyroscope?

Postby Larry101 » Sat Sep 04, 2010 10:28 am

Hi,

I'm interested in finding out if there are any Android devices which include gyroscopic sensors (like the iphone 4). The wikipedia page for the Samsung Galaxy S states that it includes a 3-axis gyroscope, and I've seen some mention of this elsewhere, but can't find official confirmation of this. Can anybody who has one (or any of the variant version) confirm this? What information do you get from the gyroscope via the sensor API?

Thanks.

It is really a good task carried out by yours. I would like to join and contribute to that. But this will consume time. Hope you are agree with that.

As all android phones can detect orientation, I presume that most, if not all, Android phones do, indeed, contain a gyroscope...
