Android Database w/ gps location

Postby ukemasta » Fri May 04, 2012 5:57 am

Hello All!

I was wondering if its possible to have a database file that is linked to a android application and a website. So if I add something to the database it will automatically update the android application. I know it will automatically update the website but I want to know if its possible to for the android application to update also. Just say i had a category called food in the database. If I add a business under the food category will it show up in the android application just as it would on a website?

I also wanted to know if I have addresses of businesses in the database, is it possible to make a app that will give the person the distance and address based on their gps location?

Thanks a lot for the help!
