A kind of process manager.. evanescent

Postby FabioBiz » Thu Jun 30, 2011 2:14 pm

Hi,
my little son (who doesn't speak yet) was playing on my Android phone with a game
and he involuntarily brought up a screen where CPU, RAM and other info for the current
process were displayed. It even showed the process' logs!! I thought it was very
interesting but I wasn't able anymore to reach it. For some time if I pressed the back
button for a long time, that screen showed up, but now it doesn't happen anymore.

What was that "process manager" mode? Anybody knows? How can I bring it up again?
It's certainly not the built in task manager, as I said it gave plenty of informations.

Thanks!

Hi,

open your dialingscreen an type this code in: *#*#4636#*#*
Now it should show you a ton of information.

Edit: I just tried it an it seems it is not the dialog you meant.

In fact, while the page you brought me too is interesting too and worth to take note of, it wasn't the one I was looking for.

This one had process information, RAM, CPU, battery used by the *process*, even the logs of it (debug, error, etc..).

Also, it's very unlikely that my son typed such a complex string that must be also exact on the phone dial page, although he likes to play with it too. ;)

Greets.
