Web browser with animated GIF image support

Postby f00dl3 » Tue Nov 17, 2009 12:12 am

Just curious - I've tried Steel and the built in browser, but both browsers just lock up animated GIF images on the first frame. I'm wanting to use my cellphone as a storm chase tool (as I was able to do with the past 3 Windows Mobile phones I've had / PPC 6700, Mogul, and Touch Pro) - but unfortunately the Android seems to lack this basic but yet critical function.

Anyone have any ideas if there are alternative browsers / widgets that support animated GIFs? I saw that Opera has a browser out for the Android now, but reviews indicate it is not stable.
