I am looking to create a calendar widget for my app. It needs to show dates in different colours, and some annotation on some dates. I also need a week and daily view.

I DO NOT need to link to the system wide calendar.

Any suggestions?

Do I need to write a calendar from scratch or is there something I can start with.
