Winners: CONGRATS!
Others: KEEP WORKING HARD!
I'm compiling a list of winners at http://phandroid.com so feel free to leave a comment or use our contact form.
I'm also interested in interviewing Winners AND Non-Winners (no losers here)...
Looking forward to speaking with all of you... _________________ http://phandroid.com |

hi everyone,
first i join all congrats to all participants.
here's my quartile score results:
Effective use: In the 25th to 50th percentile of all submitted applications
Polish: In the 50th to 75th percentile of all submitted applications
Indispensability: In the 50th to 75th percentile of all submitted applications
Originality: In the 50th to 75th percentile of all submitted applications
looks bad; if i count with 1700 sumbissions it's between 850 and 1275 roughly.
now what disappoints me is that my application uses same principle as one of a winner applications (Locale app by MIT students - http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/android_class;_ylt=ArgYOP1yjRZciuiWoNnhgdYjtBAF).
Additionally by what i know about Locale, it works like a closed system so can be thought as just a part of my app.
True is that my projects was in prototype phase with basically no design and only base functionality but working to demonstrate the ideas. On other hand i showed enough of them in description passed by app.
after all posting my comment on http://android-developers.blogspot.com/2008/05/top-50-applications.html about small compliment to myself comparing to MIT students just wasn't published.
so i stop trust to ADC and probably retreat to take part of phase 2. |

i guess its quite hard for google to decide which apps are the "best" ones. Of course with best apps i think its meant to be the apps from whom google will (probably) profit the most. Clearly they set the focus on social networking apps and some "new and fresh" ideas of some areas.
after all i think google did a good job with this challenge. |

Hi PlusMinus,
everybody has seen, how you have helped and how wonderful your ideas were, I know, it's not the same but you get applause from me and my acknowledgment.
