How to add new devices

Postby Sedji » Thu Dec 18, 2008 1:13 pm

Hi everybody,

I am quite a newbie, so maybe this is not the right place to ask, but I would like to adapt Android to my ARM9 based board. So what should I do, and where can I find the sources?

Cheers,
Sedji

AVD is an emulator configuration that lets you model an actual device by defining hardware and software options to be emulated by the Android Emulator. AVD consist of
1. A Hardware Profile.
2. Mapping to a system image.
3. Other Options.
4. A dedicated storage area on your development machine:

You can create as many AVDs as you need, based on the types of device you want to model.
