Sorry if this has been asked before but I could not find a reference. Does anyone know if there is any information on what the maximum sample rate will be for the accelerometer or will be or will this be chip specific. If chip specific does anyone know what chips are planned to be used by phone manufacturers?

I think this will be chip-specific as probably every manufacturer will do its own thing.
Also have not yet seen a API-function to go so deep to sensor-hardware. (Ok, the sensors are all not yet really implemented/emulated).
