hi friends,
I am trying to do a live wallpaper similar to water live wallpaper in nexus one....please give me quidance and suggestion to acheivce it

This isn't an Android specific one really, if you want to do this with opengl the best way would be to have a grid of quads in a vertex buffer, spread the UV coordinates out over the entire grid. Then apply a ripple through the positions, getting the touch position is easy, search for onTouchListener and you'll find lots of examples.

I'd go look for a generic opengl water ripple demo, it doesn't have to be Android specific.
