orthographic stretching my texture

i have changed the "onsurfacecreated" and "onsurfacechange" to support orthographic projection instead of perspective from a tutorial... this is all i have done. why is the texture still centered when it should be top left for 0,0 and its stretched tall ways... im missing something obviously. can some one please throw some things out there for me to check ??
