OpenGLContext not resolved

Postby androiduser123 » Wed May 13, 2009 9:35 am

Hi,

android.graphics.OpenGLContext is not resolved in SDK 1.5

Can anyone please tell me how to get openGL context and how to bind a surface to current context:

OpenGLContext glc = new OpenGLContext(OpenGLContext.DEPTH_BUFFER);
glc.makeCurrent(surfaceholder);
GL10 gl = (GL10) (glc.getGL());

OpenGLContext was deprecated from SDK 1.5

GLSurfaceView is now used, so all of the OpenGLContext samples are more or less.. useless. Of course you can still learn form them, but the way GLSV works is significantly different.

I don't know how to go about porting apps from OGLC to GLSV but it would be handy if there were some decent tutorials on either!
