I'm new on this forum. I'm sorry if my english is not good, but I'm french. I've got a problem in a little game that I'm developping for an android platform. I'd like to draw on a canvas some bitmaps, and create with this bitmaps new bitmaps that I could draw instead of drawing all of the other bitmpas. Is it possible ? Thank.

I'm trying to do an application a bit like google map but with my own maps, so the map is my first bmp and the cursor of my position the other.


I have tryed :
to define the two bitmaps in the layout (main.xml) but I didn' arrive to move one bitmap on the other by this way

I have tryed an other method using the canvas :
canvas.drawBitmap(mBackGround, 0, 0, new Paint());
canvas.drawBitmap(mSnowflake, 20, 50, new Paint());
inspired from the sample of MrSnowflake "GameTemplate.zip" here : http://www.anddev.org/2d_tutorial-t3120.html

it works.
