Hi!

I'm using OpenGL for my 2D framework and I've noticed that textures with transparent areas get an ugly black border around the edges. Has any of you encountered this problem? I'm using PNGs.

Hmm, seems like it's a texture coordinate artifact. I translate texture coordinates before rendering them (if there are animations on the sprites) and it seems like there's some bleeding. I have an idea on how I can fix it, will post the solution here if it works.....ehrm if anyone's interested :P

Are you getting the border around the whole image (a rectangle) or around the transparent areas?
