The screen is flickering in my game.

Hi.
I am making a 2D car game where the car is in the middle of the screen and when the car is moving the car is still in the middle and the background is moving instead. This causes some flickering in the Eclipse emulator. Have not tried it on a real phone yet. Is there any way to prevent this.

How many threads are you using? Are you using a drawq? If so check how that q is modified/assigned... I had problem where I was using the code

drawQInRenderer = drawQInPhysicsThread

^ The above causes all sorts of read write issues as bith threads point to the same object in ram.

The Eclipse emulator is waaaaaay slower than a real phone so i suggest testing it on a real phone
