iMovie is part of the iLife suite of software products that comes free with every Mac, it is a proprietary video editing software application which allows Mac users to edit their own home movies. But we can't import DVD into iMovie for that the iMovie don't support dvd movie format. It is a headache problem for us that many of our favorite dvd movies can't be edit by iMovie, and we can't share these our favorite dvd movies to our friends and family.
