As we know, most YouTube videos are FLV format, but the PS Vita can’t play FLV format directly, it only support MP4 video format, so in order to watch YouTube on PS Vita, we need to download YouTube to PC and then
convert YouTube FLV videos to PS Vita MP4 format. Please follow the steps below and you will know how to download and play YouTube videos on PS Vita.
1. Download YouTube HD Video Converter (or YouTube HD Video Converter for Mac). This software will help you download and convert YouTube HD and SD videos to various formats and devices.
2. Install and launch the PS Vita YouTube Converter.
3. Open YouTube Website in the YouTube to PS Vita Converter.
You can click YouTube icon in the center of the software interface, or input “www.youtube.com” in the URL bar.
4. Search the YouTube video you want to download for PS Vita. When the download button is available, click the button to download.
5. After downloading the YouTube video, the PS Vita YouTube Converter will help you convert YouTube to PlayStation Vita format automatically. You can also set the conversion manually by clicking Tools->settings->Task->Start Type.
Tips: You can set the output format and detail parameters as you want. Click format column on the boom right of the software and choose output format. You can also click Tools-> settings to set the details. You’d better set these parameters before download.
When the conversion finished, you just need to put YouTube videos on PS Vita, then you can watch YouTube videos on PS Vita freely.
